Epic brands have epic stories. Ours is first-class.
2004 When owner Pat Rollins sold Rollins Construction and Precision Commercial Interiors to Alexandria-based entrepreneur, Barry Lake, it was primarily a small drywall subcontractor for other general contractors. Lake had just finished successfully growing and selling a company that franchised residential house painting services to college entrepreneurs.
In a matter of years, Lake turned the company into one of the most elite commercial construction companies in the region, quickly becoming the premier choice builder for PNC and Chevy Chase Bank (now Capital One). The company was re-branded as “Rollins-PCI Construction” and sales growth and earnings has been nothing less than spectacular.
In Lake’s first full year as President, revenue more than doubled.
Awards & Accolades.
2007 $24.3 million in sales earned Rollins-PCI Construction recognition from Inc. Magazine, naming them the second fastest-growing commercial contractor in the U.S. Rollins-PCI was also listed #61 on the annual Inc. 500 List of the Fastest-Growing Private Companies in America.
2008 - 2009 Rollins-PCI earned a place on the Inc. 5000 list. The Baltimore Business Journal and Washington Business Journal each recognized the company as one of the largest general contractors in the area, according to their annual Book of Lists.
